Contract No. NCB № SAWR-W-NCB-5 Off farm canal and ancillary works for Pravaya Vetka Canal Head Regulator and Kara Unkur Sai River Headworks

Deadline for Submission of Bids: August 15, 2022 15:00 (Bishkek time).

  1. The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Climate Change and Disaster-Resilient Water Resources Sector Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
  1. The State Agency for Water Resources Services under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Off farm canal and ancillary works for Pravaya Vetka Canal Head Regulator and Kara Unkur Sai River Headworks (“the Works”).
  • Reconstruction of crossing threshold No. 2 and construction of crossing thresholds No. 3 and No. 4 on HTW
  • Reconstruction of comb dampers on HTW
  • Repair of the spillway chamber on HTW
  • Replacement of gate shields and lifts at the head water intake structure of the Kara-Unkur-Sai River
  • Automation and replacement of electrical equipment
  • Repair of the dispatching point on HTW
  • Reconstruction of winter discharge channel from PK 3+50 (bridge) to PK 5+90
  • Reconstruction of sediment flushing channel from HM 0+00 to HM 1+18 (winter throw)
  1. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
  1. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
  • Minimum average annual construction turnover of KGS 185 000 000, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 years.
  • Participation as a contractor, or subcontractor, in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within the last 5 years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds KGS 130 000 000.
