Vacant position announcement: Agriculture Specialist in the South of the Project Implementation Unit.
Qualification requirements
- Higher education in hydro-amelioration, agronomy, and land reclamation;
- Certificates confirming professional knowledge and skills is an advantage;
- At least 7 years of experience in hydraulic engineering, land reclamation, and land improvement. A good understanding of the work specifics of government agencies (District Water Management Department), water user associations, farms, and seed production enterprises;
- Experience in creating and introducing demonstration plots and organizing farmer field days.
- Experience in conducting farmer training courses and seminars on irrigation and agronomy.
- At least 3 years of international project experience;
- Skills in preparing various types of project documentation and reports;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Kyrgyz and Russian. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Computer skills (Windows, MS Office, Internet Explorer).
