It is known that in March 2018, Brazil will host the 8th World Water Forum. The two-day Civil Forum in Dushanbe allowed various stakeholders to discuss the Forum's processes and develop common ideas on the Central Asian region that will be presented during the World Water Forum on behalf of civil society.
The forum was held in the format of group work of the local community, the research and academic community, young specialists and the women's community in the water sector. Participants were divided into thematic sections: Climate, Population, Development, Cities, Ecosystems and Financing. After the discussions, each thematic table presented and identified the most relevant messages that were included in the final message of the Civil Society of Central Asia for the World Water Forum. It should be noted that the active role of young leaders who were interested in contributing to global processes related to water and the willingness to support and develop a youth network in this direction.
