In all oblasts, except for Naryn oblast, the first irrigations of crops are started.

As of May 7, 2018, water supply for irrigation was 390.4 million m3 or 57% of the plan. 263.6 thousand hectares or 63% of the plan were irrigated with supplied water. Among 263.6 thousand hectares, including water-charging irrigations 188.1 thousand hectares are irrigated, by the first irrigation 73.9 thousand hectares are irrigated.
